Dear family and friends

Dear friends and family,

As you know, Residential Services Inc. is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities by providing quality residential programs as well as many other services. Over the last 35 years, RSI has dedicated its time and energy to enabling our residents to lead full lives in the Orange County community. We also want to make sure our residents can lead long and healthy lives. RSI is excited to announce the development of our Recreational Activity Center, which will be located at the Spring Glen Retirement Community.

We pride ourselves on our loyalty and commitment to improving the lives of our residents. We feel that it is our responsibility to do more than encourage healthy lifestyles; we should provide the resources to implement them. Over time, data has increased concerning the significant health risks, including obesity, for individuals with developmental disabilities, especially those of the aging population. The activity center, with a projected finish date of next year, will provide a facility in which residents can combat these health risks.

Additionally, many RSI residents are extremely active, especially with Special Olympics, some competing on a monthly basis. Residents enjoy a variety of activities from golfing to yoga to basketball. Recreational activity is important for individuals with developmental disabilities because it broadens their interests, allows for new skill sets, fosters personal growth, provides an environment for friendships to grow, and most importantly, is a way of interacting with the community and acquiring confidence.

Residential Services Inc. truly appreciates and admires your past support for us. Without it, we would not be as successful as we are today in providing supports for our residents. RSI would like to thank you, on behalf of our residents, staff, friends, and family, for your continued support and motivation.

Best Regards,

Residential Services, Inc.
