Ways to Give

GIFTS OF CASH
A gift of cash is the simplest way to make a gift to RSI’s Recreational Activity Center, and allows the highest immediate tax deduction. A gift of cash is fully deductible on your income tax return in the year the gift is made. The deduction is limited to 50 percent of your adjusted gross income. If you are unable to use the entire deduction during the current year, you are permitted to carry the remainder forward for up to five years, subject to limitations. RSI offers the following opportunities to donate gifts of cash:

Brick Campaign to benefit the Recreational Activity Center Donors can purchase the following bricks to be engraved in someone’s honor:
 - 4”x8” brick for a minimum contribution of $100 each
   18 characters per line, 3 lines
 - 8”x8” brick for a minimum contribution of $250 each
   18 characters per line, 6 lines
 - 12”x12” brick for a minimum contribution of $500 each
   23 characters per line, 10 lines
*characters are any letters, numbers, spaces or punctuation marks

Capital Campaign Pledges
 Donors make a verbal or written pledge to contribute a specified sum in increments  (usually monthly, quarterly or annually) over a certain period of time.

 One Time Donation
 Donors make a verbal or written contribution of a one time amount.

 Donors can go to RSI’s web site, http://www.rsi-nc.org/ and click on “Giving” to read more about  making online donations via the Paypal system.
